Training and Safety

Keeping the more 6,000 employees of Georgia’s 41 EMCs safe on the job and their job performance at its best are the goals of Georgia EMC’s Training & Safety Department. To do so, we provide and conduct a comprehensive curriculum of training programs year round.

Georgia’s EMCs also actively participate in the annual Georgia Lineman’s Rodeo, which tests and showcases the complex nature of electric line worker skills.
