OVERVIEW: This course provides employees, managers, and HR professionals with an understanding of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure legal compliance and fair workplace practices. The training helps organizations reduce liability, support employees' rights, and maintain a fair and legally compliant work environment and covers key topics such as employee eligibility, qualifying reasons for leave, duration, employer obligations, and return-to-work policies. It will help in defining disabilities, considering reasonable accommodations, interactive process, undue hardship, and legal protections
Those who would benefit include: o HR o Anyone responsible for making personal leaves and/or accommodation decisions o Leaders of higher turnover areas or areas prone to illness or injury
May 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – lunch is provided.
