The Distribution Line Design and Certification Programs provide essential training for field engineering personnel. All courses include hands-on experience in the classroom and in the field, an overview of the National Electrical Safety Code and discussions about legal liability.

Intended for individuals with less than three years of experience or for those looking to refresh their knowledge, this course covers the fundamentals of distribution line design. Participants design a single-phase overhead pole line, which encompasses instruction on Rural Utilities Service (RUS) assemblies, clearances, sag tables, guy tensions and transformer loading.

Our Mission: Provide leadership and unity through advocacy, education and communications.
