Introduction to Automation -

The objective of this course is to provide insight into the workings of automatic restoration schemes in distribution systems. Attendees will gain understanding through hands-on demonstrations of 1, 2, 3, and 4 device schemes, illustrating their effectiveness in isolating line sections and furnishing accurate outage information. Tailored outage scenarios will highlight the critical role of communication in system coordination and the responsibilities entrusted to system operators. Active participation is encouraged, with all participants invited to pose questions and contribute scenario ideas based on their personal experiences.
