The objective of this lab is to learn skills and gain knowledge for climbing poles with full fall protection. This lab is also designed to introduce skills such as knot tying, driving nails, inspection of poles for cracks, rot, broken material, rocks and stakes at the base of the pole and procedures needed to progress in the Apprenticeship Program. In this lab the apprentice will be performing hands on work while demonstrating knowledge of safe work procedures.
